Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use our website, call us, ask for a quote or hire Efficient Menifee Insulation Company to work on your house. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms.

If a written estimate or work agreement we give you says something different from this page, the written estimate or agreement controls for that job.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor based in Menifee, CA, and we work in Menifee and the cities around it. Our work includes attic and blown-in insulation, spray foam, wall and crawl space insulation, air sealing, vapor barriers and removal of old insulation.

What you read on this website is general information about insulation. Your attic, crawl space and walls are their own case, so what we do on your house is set by the on-site estimate. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, with no obligation to hire us. An estimate covers the work it describes, at the price it states, for as long as it says it's good for.

We price the job from what we can see and measure during the visit. Sometimes we find something once the work is open that we couldn't see before, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, hidden damage to framing, or vents buried under old material. When that happens, we stop, tell you what we found and what it changes, and we don't do extra work or charge for it until you agree.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set a work date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays or a crew member falling ill can move it, and if that happens we'll call you as soon as we know.

On the work day, we need clear access to the areas in the job, such as the attic hatch, the crawl space entry and a path through the house. Some products, spray foam in particular, need everyone to stay out for a set time before they come back in. We'll tell you the re-entry time for your job, meaning how long before you, your kids and your pets can come back, and you agree to follow it.

If you need to cancel or move your date, call us at (951) 430-8005 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or sent the crew out, your written agreement may charge you for those costs.

Payment

You pay the amounts in your written estimate or agreement, on the dates it lists. We only ask for a deposit when the estimate says so.

If a payment is late, we may pause any work that hasn't been finished until it's paid. Any charges for late payment apply only if your written agreement includes them, and only as far as California law allows.

Our guarantee and warranties

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job we did isn't right, call us and we'll come back, take a look and make it right on the work we did.

Insulation, foam and barrier products carry their own warranties from the companies that make them. We pass those warranties on to you, and their terms are the maker's, not ours.

Apart from our guarantee, the maker's warranties and anything else written in your agreement, we don't make other promises about the work, as far as the law allows. Our guarantee doesn't cover problems caused by roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, storms, or changes or repairs made by someone else after we leave.

Limits on our liability

We're fully licensed and insured. Even so, as far as California law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses tied to a job, such as lost income, lost use of a room, or costs that didn't come directly from our work.

As far as the law allows, the most we owe you for any claim about a job is the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have that California law says can't be limited.

Information on this website is offered as is. We work to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or free of mistakes, and it isn't a substitute for an estimate on your own house.

If we disagree

If you're unhappy with something, call us first, because most problems get settled faster that way than any other. We'll listen, look at the work and try to settle it fairly.

If we can't work it out between us, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. Either of us can still bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case about them will be heard in the courts of Riverside County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page. Changes don't affect a job you've already signed for unless we both agree in writing.

If you have a question about these terms, call us at (951) 430-8005 or reach us through our Contact page.
